Sunsets on Freedom
Hey hay everyone. Cantertales was hacked, kidnapped, taken over by some worm. It was terrifying. I came back for refuge after a dark and long winter to find a black page with red print, “taken by Allah” and emoticons with evil eyes and tongues hanging out. Why and for what reason I asked? The answer is simply there is no reason, it wasn’t personal, and this happens and may again by hackers with nothing better to do. So, dear hackers find something better to do, like causes worth caring for. I am back. This time I promise to not neglect the horses and their stories. My Father passed away in March, leaving my Mother and siblings a fractured family. Like the fractured family bands of horses the patriarch passed and now what? My course for grieving sent me on trail rides with groupon coupons. I could get close to what forever heals my spirit, horses. I also spent a few days with Kate in Kern county. She can see her horse, Reno, from her kitchen window. Back in the saddle and looking ahead, wild horses come take me away.
So, for now……….
A canter is a cure for every evil. ~Benjamin Disraeli
And for Kate, …
A horse is worth more than riches. ~Spanish Proverb

My sympathies for the hack job.
It’s a tangled web.
Awfully ironic to suffer by someone presuming to act for Allah against horses, in light of the equine heritage of the Arabian Peninsula.
In a similar vein of injury, my Swill&Scroll site has been barraged by a sh*t storm of spam solicitations (diminishing of late, thanks to luck or fate, or deft handling by the admin-meister).
Looks like our blogs, though bloodied, may rise again.
Let’s pray the family can do as well.
As they say, you can lead a horse to water …
and you can always tell a Roth
(but you can’t tell him much).

BeGone, evil hackers! Welcome back Cantertales and all horse fans. And in response to the Spanish proverb, it’s true that while in the presence of a horse, I NEVER have one thought about money… or any temporal crap. Interesting!
For the Horses,
Kate
